B. Listening Comprehension – Reorder the sentences

Read our article about a photo safari in Tanzania on pages 22-23 of English Now No 121. Then, listen to the dialogue between Adriene and Linda and reorder the sentences.

Conversation 3: Adriene is American and is travelling with her British friend Linda. They are on a boat to Zanzibar.

Linda: I can see the harbour now. Isn’t that the Arab Fort over there?
Linda: The empty beaches, the quiet, the beautiful weather. Wow!
Adriene: I’m more of a nature girl. This is the only place in the world you can see red colobus monkeys.
Linda: Zanzibar is a group of islands, there’s something there for everybody.
Adriene: Seasickness can be horrible. Look, there’s Zanzibar.
Linda: Much better. That pill you gave me helped.
Adriene: We’ll be there in a little while. How are you feeling?
Linda: It’s the history I’m looking forward to. This was a center of Indian Ocean trade for hundreds of years.
Adriene: And there are also the spices and the spice markets. You’ll take some great photos.
Adriene: Yes, I think it is. I can’t wait to discover this wonderful island.
